On December 6, 2024, Lakeshore Records will release The Boy Kills World vinyl editions. Fans will have two distinct choices. One LP contains tracks by the band El Michels Affair, set on transparent red vinyl. The other LP offers the action movie’s original soundtrack, composed by Ludvig Forrsell and pressed onto transparent blue vinyl.

Two records will come with full-color booklets and distinct cover designs. The band known as The El Michels Affair, spearheaded by acclaimed musician and producer Leon Michels, is a soul group that delivers a cinematic sound. Apart from their project Boy Kills World, they recently collaborated on the 2023 album Glorious Game with Black Thought, the lead MC of The Roots.
Ludvig Forrsell is a BAFTA-nominated musician, primarily recognized for his work in the video game industry, where he frequently collaborates with Hideo Kojima. His notable compositions include Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and Death Stranding, along with the 2021 animated film Belle.
