F.L.Y. is a fresh queer romance movie set to debut in December, brought to us by Breaking Glass Pictures. This film, helmed by directors and writers Rafael Albarran and Trent Kendrick, follows two characters, one of whom aspires to be a drag superstar. As they find themselves unexpectedly stuck together at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, their lives become entangled in a complicated situation. The movie offers an intriguing tale of romance and self-discovery amidst the challenges of a global crisis.

What is F.L.Y. about?
F.L.Y. is a humorous series set during everyday life, focusing on two former partners, Max and Rafael, who find themselves quarantining together at the start of the COVID-19 outbreak. It’s been five years since they last met, and Max now has a new partner, while Rafael has recently moved to LA with aspirations of becoming the next drag sensation.
Apart from being the writer and director of F.L.Y., Trent Kendrick takes on the role of Max, with Rafael Albarran portraying Rafael. Joining them in the cast are Pixie Aventura as she plays Pixie, Alexeev Dismuke as Hunter, Torrey B. Lawrence as John, and Michael Vaccaro as Michael.
In a statement, Rich Wolff, CEO of Breaking Glass Pictures, described F.L.Y. as a touching and funny portrayal of the unforeseen bonds that impact us. It combines humor, romance, and the indomitable spirit of humanity in a unique way, set against an extraordinary backdrop.
Beyond their acting roles, Albarran and Kendrick also contribute as producers for the film F.L.Y., alongside Shiran Carolyn Miller, Caesar Osiris, and Vanessa Pantley. This movie, lasting approximately 105 minutes, was previously screened at the Outfest Film Festival, FilmOut San Diego, Out on Film Atlanta, and the Puerto Rico Film Festival.
F.L.Y. has been given a December 10, 2024, release date from Breaking Glass Pictures.
