Soon, ComingSoon will premiere a unique sneak peek into “Disposable Humanity“, an upcoming Holocaust documentary that sheds light on the hidden reality – the exploitation of disabled individuals by the Nazis as they trained their personnel in the art of murder within concentration camps.
2025’s Slamdance Film Festival is where you’ll find the debut of “Disposable Humanity”. This groundbreaking premiere will be held on February 21st, with screenings starting at 7:15 p.m. Pacific Time at the LA Times Theater located within Quixote Studios. A second screening has been scheduled for Saturday, February 22nd, at 5:30 p.m. Pacific Time, also at Summer & David at Quixote Studios.

What is Disposable Humanity about?
The movie traces the journey of the Mitchell family, academic experts in Disability Studies and filmmakers, who have delved into the Nazi Aktion T4 program since the 1990s. By engaging with memorial leaders, disabled individuals, and family members of T4 victims, they expose a chilling revelation: the Nazi Aktion T4 program was not only a training ground for killing personnel but also a blueprint for the machinery of mass murder that paved the way for the Holocaust. This documentary investigation sheds light on how disabled people were the first to be targeted under the Nazi regime, and how this dark chapter in history has been concealed and forgotten from global public consciousness.
This documentary titled “Disposable Humanity” was crafted by Cameron S. Mitchell and David T. Mitchell, who also appear on screen. Other participants in the film are Sharon L. Snyder, Emma Janes Mitchell, Susanne Knittel, Andy Hechler, Andreas Knitz, among others. The executive producers of this project are C. Mitchell, D. Mitchell, Steve Way, and Nic Novicki, with Rachel Sophia Stewart and C. Mitchell handling the editing duties. Spanning 94 minutes in total, the film is now ready to be shown.
