A reliable source close to TopMob shared some juicy details: AA is set to receive an astounding Rs 175 crore (approx.) and a 15% stake in the profits, thanks to Sun Pictures’ backing. Atlee, on the other hand, will pocket a cool Rs 100 crore as his fee for this sixth movie of his illustrious career – a testament to his brand value and box-office pull.
Beyond this, the projected Rs 800-crore venture encompasses expenses of Rs 200 crores for production and constructing a visual effects backdrop worth Rs 250 crores. The film’s creators are leaving no expense to present it as a grand pan-Indian spectacle with international appeal, especially given Atlee’s direction and the recent success of Jawan. As such, anticipation for this project is running extremely high, according to the source.
Remarkably, the upcoming movie by SS Rajamouli featuring Mahesh Babu comes with an estimated production cost of roughly 1000 crores.
Allu Arjun’s birthday falls on April 8th, and a major announcement about his next collaboration is scheduled for 11 AM that day. Sun Pictures hinted at this significant partnership with their tweet, “Stay tuned for an update on the Mass meets Magic Magnum Opus tomorrow at 11 AM.” Speculations suggest that this project will be action-packed and heavy on visual effects (VFX). The filming of A6 is expected to start by August 2025.
