What happens in the Alien Country trailer?
As a die-hard fan, I’m excited to share that the video showcases Jimmy Walker from Clyde, who unwittingly triggers an alien invasion. In a heartbeat, he’s thrust into an impossible predicament – safeguarding his pregnant girlfriend and our quaint little town from being swarmed by extraterrestrials. The movie also boasts some familiar faces like Rachele Brooke Smith (from The Nice Guys), Austin Archer (The Night Clerk), Dalton Baker (Yellowstone), Corbin Alred (Teen Angel), and Payton Myler (American Ninja Warrior Junior), among others.
The plot revolves around Jimmy Walker, a resident demolition derby driver, who discovers his girlfriend Everly is expecting. He considers this as the most challenging piece of news he’ll receive that day. However, they inadvertently open a strange portal, releasing a swarm of bio-engineered extraterrestrial creatures into their small town. With time running out, these expectant parents find themselves in a desperate struggle to team up, halt the monster onslaught, and save their community, planet, and relationship from imminent destruction.
Alien Country was helmed by Boston McConnaughey, who collaborated with Renny Grames on the script. This project is overseen by executive producers Grames, McConnaughey, Danny Simeone, and Charan Prabhaka, with Gordon Angelo Morton serving as the producer. The film made its debut at the Rhode Island International Film Festival, where it clinched the top prize for Best Comedy.
