Excitement builds as the Asia Pacific Snapdragon Mobile Challenge Finals for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) draws nearer, with the live tournament in Johor Bahru, Malaysia fast approaching.
From February 14th to February 16th, 2025, fans are eagerly preparing for an action-packed weekend full of fierce competition. The latest group draw results have created the perfect scenario for some unforgettable matchups.
A Stacked Lineup Full of the Region’s Best MLBB Teams
The Snapdragon Mobile Challenge Finals will showcase twelve prominent MLBB esports figures from the region. Included among these invited teams is ONIC ID, a powerhouse Indonesian squad that has ruled the roost since 2018, following their acquisition of several Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) titles from Season 10 to Season 13. They’ll be seeking to regain their former glory after a subpar showing at the 2024 Mid-Season Cup during the Esports World Cup.
In a more natural and easy to read manner, the tweet could be:
“Champions are defined by courage, and only the bold will emerge victorious! The Snapdragon Mobile Challenge Finals for MLBB Season 6 is taking place at the Persada Johor International Convention Centre, Malaysia, from February 14-16, 2025. Join us as we celebrate bravery in the #SnapdragonProSeries and #MLBB! #BOLDANDBRAVE

As I step into the gaming arena, it’s clear that Falcon Esports is one of the powerhouses here. This Burmese team has been turning heads ever since they burst onto the scene in 2021. They’ve been consistently outplaying their opponents in the Myanmar qualifiers, earning them a reputation to be reckoned with. Last season in the Snapdragon Pro Series, we had a tough battle during the Challenge Season, but unfortunately, we were eliminated then. Here’s hoping for better luck this time around!
Additionally, there is the esteemed team known as Falcons (formerly Falcons AP.Bren), a Philippine organization that etched its name in history by becoming the first to claim two global titles and the first to win the world championship on home turf following their triumphant streak at the M5 World Championship in 2023.
Apart from the favored teams such as the Selangor Red Giants, Flash Singapore, and Cambodia’s See You Soon, other elite squads invited to the competition are Aurora, Bigetron Alpha, EVOS Holy, ONIC PH, RRQ Hoshi, and Team Liquid ID. These teams have made it to the Snapdragon Mobile Challenge Finals through earlier stages. In addition to these, six other teams qualified for this event.
As a devoted fan, I can’t help but marvel at Team Liquid ID’s recent triumph in the MPL Indonesia tournament. What makes their victory even more impressive is that they fielded a squad of young players who had previously competed in the Tier-2 league of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Development League. These up-and-coming talents are definitely a team to watch closely moving forward.
Group Draw Sets the Stage for High-Stakes Clashes
Once the tournament layout is finalized, the preliminary rounds of the Snapdragon Mobile Challenge Finals are poised for exciting confrontations. These initial rounds will see the twelve participating teams split evenly into two groups, each containing six teams.
Here is an overview of each group:
Group | Teams |

In both teams’ groups, securing a place in the upcoming Playoffs won’t come without a challenge. The initial stages will put everyone’s ability to adapt and endure to the test, as each squad vies for the coveted championship trophy.
