In “The First Berserker: Khazan“, numerous mechanisms are in operation, some of which align with typical expectations from a soulslike game, while others may require a sharp eye to spot and can be easily overlooked if not carefully observed, like the Vengeance Points system.
Besides providing significant boosts with Vengeance Points, you might not notice their existence until much later in your gameplay. Their acquisition and usage are hidden subtly, often leading players to miss them entirely. Therefore, understanding what they are, how to get them, and what they unlock is vital for a smooth gaming experience!
What Are Vengeance Points?
In the game The First Berserker: Khazan, you accumulate Vengeance Points as a special reward when finishing either the Main or Bonus Missions. Keep an eye out for any Mission that appears on your screen, because completing them all will help you earn the maximum amount of Vengeance Points throughout your gaming experience.
You might not realize this, but you don’t immediately acquire the rewards for completing a Mission. Instead, you need to navigate to a particular menu to claim them. Unfortunately, the game doesn’t clarify this point, so it can be puzzling when trying to understand that Vengeance Points are involved.
How To Claim Your Vengeance Points
As a player eager for my vengeance, I can only claim my Vengeance Points once I’ve made it to The Crevice, the central hub world that opens up after vanquishing the Blade Phantom. Once I arrive here, I can finally start amassing those well-deserved Vengeance Points.
As a player, whenever I engage my Blade Nexus, a tantalizing opportunity to delve into Khazan’s Memories appears on the menu. Choosing this path unveils an overview of every quest I’ve undertaken within the game, offering me a glimpse at the missions I’ve successfully completed thus far.
Completing a mission will earn you its associated Vengeance Points, clearly visible on the top right corner of the Mission Card. Therefore, remember to engage the Blade Nexus upon finishing a mission to collect your points, as they are often overlooked!
How To Spend Vengeance Points

When you’re engaged with Khazan’s Memories through the Blade Nexus, you can bring up a secondary menu by pressing Square/X. This enables you to distribute your Vengeance Points into three distinct areas. Each of these sections focuses on enhancing your damage output, which proves incredibly beneficial.
Upgrade | Description |
---|---|
Stamina Damage Increase | Enemies take more Damage to their Stamina Gauge. |
Damage Increase | Increases your overall Damage output. |
Damage Multiplier Increase | Raises your overall Damage Multiplier when dealing Damage to enemies. |
As you progress with Missions and enhance their bonuses, it will demand an increasing number of Vengeance Points for upgrading, however, the boost they provide will become significantly larger. Keep in mind that these upgrades will have a substantial impact, particularly when you’re engaged in every Bonus Mission.
Even though Vengeance Points might not be explicitly discussed or emphasized within the game, it’s crucial to keep them in mind during your initial playthrough. These points can yield significant benefits, so try upgrading them multiple times if possible, as they will make confrontations with certain bosses easier down the line!
