After creating sixty-one Warframes, it’s time for something new: Warframe is unveiling Oraxia, a Warframe with a spider theme. The community has been eagerly awaiting a Warframe like this for some time now. Part of the excitement stems from the allure of spider powers, while another part comes from curiosity about how Digital Extremes will bring such a Warframe to life. So far, it looks like arachnophobic players have little to fear.

Oraxia, The Spider Frame

With the Isleweaver update, Oraxia will make her entry into the game, a new expansion that takes us back to the mysterious land of Duviri. For those who have been curious about the whereabouts of Major Rusalka, the initial antagonist from Warframe: 1999, she can now be found on the enigmatic floating islands of Duviri.

In her own words, Rebecca Ford, Creative Director of Warframe, expressed that fulfilling long-standing community requests is one of the most rewarding aspects of working on this game. For years, players have been vocal about wanting a ‘Spiderframe’, and now Oraxia has officially arrived! The way we’ve interwoven her into the larger narrative reflects our passion for expanding the bizarre universe of Warframe. With Isleweaver, players are invited to return to Duviri as the adventure continues, picking up right where the narrative cliffhangers in Warframe: 1999’s story involving the villainous Major Rusalka left off.

This character will possess unique skills such as targeting vulnerable opponents to restore health and power, trapping foes within sticky webs, summoning miniature spider versions, and scaling walls like a real spider does, providing an innovative method of movement in Warframe. We’ll share comprehensive information about her abilities once it becomes available.
