Over the course of several years, numerous actors have come and gone from Young and Restless, but as we approach 2025, there’s a significant number of actors preparing to exit the show. This includes long-standing characters who have been with us for a while, as well as some that might be replaced in the coming months.
Here is a list of everyone leaving Young and Restless in 2025.
List of everyone who is leaving The Young and the Restless in 2025
Conner Floyd (Chance Chancellor)
Conner Floyd made headlines due to his move to Days of Our Lives, following in the footsteps of Billy Flynn who signed up for Young and Restless as Cane Ashby. Essentially, Conner Floyd is stepping into Flynn’s role within Days of Our Lives.
As a devoted fan, I’ve been following the captivating storylines on CBS’s soap opera, and one character that truly stood out to me was Phillip “Chance” Chancellor, portrayed by Conner Floyd. However, it seems that the network hasn’t made any announcements yet about who might step into his shoes as Chance.
Ray Wise (Ian Ward)
Ray Wise portrayed Ian Ward on Young and Restless. His tenure ended in January 2025, and it’s anticipated that Ian will meet his demise in the series soon. This tragic end for Ian stems from his protracted conflict with Victor. Ultimately, Victor emerges victorious in this tale of rivalry.
As a devoted fan, I can’t help but reminisce about the captivating presence of Wise on The Young and the Restless, gracing our screens for an impressive 91 episodes. Who knows? Perhaps the show might invite him back to enthrall us once more in the future!
Linden Ashby (Cameron Kirsten)
It’s regrettable that the role of Cameron Kirsten, played by Linden Ashby, will not be seen on The Young and the Restless anymore. Initially, he was introduced as a crucial character in 2003, but more recently, the producers decided to bring him back only to write his character out of the storyline.
He last appeared in Sharon’s hallucinations. His last episode aired on January 27, 2025.
Allison Lanier (Summer Newman)
This year, Allison Lanier departed from Young and Restless as well. She’s been playing the character of Nick Newman and Phyllis Summers’ daughter, Summer Newman, since 2022, a role previously held by Hunter King. Given the significance of the part, it’s expected that producers will likely find another actress to step into Summer Newman’s shoes soon.
In Allison Lanier’s final episode, she set off to Italy.
Colleen Zenk (Jordan Howard)
In simpler terms, Colleen Zenk, who joined the cast in 2023, was the last one to leave the show in 2025. Her character, Jordan Howard, brought an interesting and villainous twist to the series. Unfortunately, her character was written off the show, and she passed her role on after that year.
On January 24, 2025, the last episode of the series aired, and the actress expressed her sorrow over her departure in an interview with TV Insider, stating, “I’m sorry to see Jordan leave so soon. I had imagined that Ian and Jordan would share a more lasting end, like Bonnie and Clyde.
