The teaser provides fans with the first look at Everybody Still Hates Chris, featuring animated version of the Johnson family. It also includes a preview of Chris Rock‘s newest voiceovers, as he returns as the revival’s narrator. Besides Rock, original stars Terry Crews and Tichinia Arnold are also reprising their respective roles as Chris’ parents Julius and Rochelle. The original series ran on-air from 2005-2009 for four seasons.

“In the upcoming reprise, we find Adult Chris recounting tales influenced by his past as a scrawny nerd in a big working-class family from Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, during the late 1980s, serving as the narrative backbone.”

The TV show “Everybody Still Hates Chris” is overseen by executive producer Rock and showrunner Sanjay Shah. Young Chris is portrayed by Tim Johnson Jr., with Ozioma Akagha playing his sister Tonya, Terrence Little Gardenhigh as his brother Drew, and Gunnar Sizemore as his friend Greg. The executive producers of the series include Ali LeRoi, Michael Rotenberg, Dave Becky, Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, and Ben Kalina. “Big Mouth” producer Titmouse acts as the animation studio for the show.
