EVE Galaxy Conquest 4X strategy mobile spinoff gets October release date

As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for MMOs and strategy games, I can hardly contain my excitement about EVE Galaxy Conquest! Having played EVE Online myself, I know how deep and immersive its universe can be, so a spin-off focusing on 4X strategy piques my interest.

The much-anticipated spinoff of EVE Online titled EVE Galaxy Conquest, a strategy game for mobile devices, has officially set a release date on both iOS and Android platforms. This exciting announcement was made by CCP Shanghai during the EVE Fanfest 2023 event, but updates about the game had been scarce since then. We now have confirmation that it will be available towards the end of October 2024.

This week, CCP Games and CCP Shanghai unveiled the release details for EVE Galaxy Conquest in a fresh trailer. The cinematic trailer hinted at an October 29, 2024 launch date, with availability on Android through Google Play and iOS via the Apple App Store. Players can now pre-register for the Android version, which grants them bonus in-game currencies that can be utilized across various game elements and advancement.

EVE Galaxy Conquest was unveiled at EVE Fanfest in September 2023 as one of CCP Games’ new ventures for their well-known MMO universe. This is a strategy game in the 4X genre, created by CCP’s Shanghai branch, and it lets players join one of several factions to embark on strategic growth within the narrative universe of EVE Online. The factions available include the Caldari State, Gallente Federation, Amarr Empire, and Minmatar Republic. Each faction offers distinct advantages and opportunities for players.
