The actress’s enthusiasm for her character’s “craziness” is music to my ears, as it promises a rollercoaster of dramatic twists and turns that have become the hallmark of this groundbreaking series.

The start date for Euphoria Season 3 is set quite some time ahead, specifically January 2025, when filming will commence. In a recent chat, Sweeney shared her eagerness to reprise the role of Cassie, noting that she’d love to make the character as unhinged as feasible.

“I can’t wait to dive back into the world of Cassie, who is one of my favorite characters,” Sweeney shared with People. “To be honest, I enjoy the more unconventional side of Cassie, so the more outrageous her storylines, the better for me.”

Concerning queries about Cassie’s storyline in Season 3, Sweeney admitted that he was not privy to any details. In his own words, “To be honest, I don’t have any information regarding it.”

Euphoria, modeled after an Israeli series, primarily focuses on the lives of students at East Highland High School and explores challenging themes like abuse, substance abuse, mental health issues, and violent relationships.

Among the primary characters in the series, Cassie finds herself entangled in gossips concerning her past romantic encounters. At first, she starts dating Chris McKay, the school’s popular football player. However, their relationship doesn’t last, and later on, she develops a bond with Nate Jacobs, who was previously Maddy Perez’s abusive boyfriend. In the Season 2 climax, Cassie upsets Lexi’s play depicting her own life. This act triggers a physical altercation between Cassie and Maddy backstage. Following the fight, Cassie admits to Maddy that Nate has called off their relationship.

Euphoria initially aired on HBO on June 16, 2019, and its second season ran from January 9, 2022 to February 27, 2022. Since that time, Zendaya has become one of Hollywood’s rising stars due to her performances, with the 2023 romantic comedy “Anyone But You” serving as another testament to her talent.
