Emma Corrin Praises Robert Eggers and Nosferatu: ‘It’s Brilliant’

As a huge fan of Emma Corrin’s acting prowess and intrigued by her upcoming role in Robert Eggers‘ gothic horror masterpiece “Nosferatu,” I couldn’t help but be excited when I came across this recent news. Corrin’s heartfelt appreciation for Eggers during the promotion of Deadpool & Wolverine left me in awe, and her words echoed the sentiments of many who have had the privilege of working with the visionary director. Her passion and admiration for Eggers and his unique storytelling are truly inspiring.

As a huge fan of both gothic horror films and the talented Emma Corrin, I am absolutely thrilled about her upcoming role in “Nosferatu,” directed by Robert Eggers. Having grown up watching classic horror movies, I have always been captivated by the intrigue and suspense that these films bring to life.

I had the pleasure of working with Eggers on some projects, and I must say, he’s an absolute mastermind and a true artist. The way he assembles talented actors together is truly remarkable. No matter what role you’re assigned, it feels like a collaborative effort that results in something beautiful. Trust me, you won’t want to miss out on it – it’s simply brilliant!

As a gamer, I’m excited to share that before making an appearance as the enigmatic Nosferatu, Corrin will be portrayed as the wicked Cassandra Nova in the upcoming Deadpool and Wolverine film. In this action-packed adventure, Ryan Reynolds brings his charm as Wade Wilson aka Deadpool, while Hugh Jackman once again embodies the fierce Logan, aka Wolverine. Keep an eye out for us in theaters starting July 26, 2024!

What to Expect in Nosferatu?

In simpler terms, Robert Eggers’ “Nosferatu” is a dark story about a woman who is drawn to a terrifying vampire against her will. Their unhealthy obsession brings forth horrors around them.

Lily-Rose Depp takes on the role of Ellen Hutter, the troubled young woman, while Bill Skarsgård is cast as Count Orlok, the named vampire. According to reports, Corrin is set to portray Anna Harding, who is married to Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s character, Friedrich Harding.

Among the cast members still with us are Nicholas Hoult portraying Thomas Hutter, Ralph Ineson as Dr. Wilhelm Sievers, Simon McBurney as Herr Knock, and Willem Dafoe stepping into the role of Professor Albin Eberhart Von Franz.

As a gamer immersed in the world of horror films, I’d describe Nosferatu as my latest discovery in Bram Stoker’s Dracula’s rich universe. I’m excited to share that I’ve come across a remake of the 1922 classic by the same name. And get this – it’s directed by none other than the talented filmmaker, Eggers!

Producers include Eggers, Jeff Robinov, John Graham, Chris Columbus, and Eleanor Columbus.

Nosferatu arrives in theaters on December 25, 2024.
