After buying the social media platform Twitter and changing its name to X, Elon Musk subsequently established xAI. Now, xAI is set to acquire Twitter through a $45 billion deal that involves only stocks.
In a recent update, Elon Musk announced the purchase of xAI for a staggering $80 billion, with Twitter (previously known as X), which he had acquired in 2022 for $44 billion and rebranded, valued at $33 billion. Elon went on to share additional details in his post.

Elon Musk was already the owner of xAI and he continues to be its current proprietor. In fact, Musk had been integrating AI elements into X through tools like Grok, a generative AI model that operates within the application.
