Pixar has unveiled the final trailer for its upcoming sci-fi animated comedy, titled “Elio,” a production from the creators of Turning Red and Coco. This otherworldly film is set to hit cinemas on June 20, 2025.

What happens in the Elio final trailer?

The video progresses by emphasizing the main character’s longing to be accepted, having faced difficulties fitting in among peers. Remarkably, his acceptance comes in an unanticipated setting – he assumes the role of Earth’s ambassador to friendly extraterrestrials. Now, he must safeguard these new friends from a hostile invader.

The animated film “Elio” is helmed by directors Madeline Sharafian, Domee Shi, and Adrian Molina, who collaborated on a script written by Molina, Mike Jones, Julia Cho, and Mark Hammer. This movie showcases Yonas Kibreab as Elio, Zoe Saldaña as Aunt Olga, Remy Edgerly as Glordon, Brad Garrett as Lord Grigon, Jameela Jamil as Ambassador Questa, and Shirley Henderson as Ooooo. Mary Alice Drumm takes on the role of producer for this production.
