Pixar has unveiled a fresh preview of the character Elio from their forthcoming science fiction comedy. This film is being developed by the creators behind Turning Red and Coco, and it’s set to premiere in cinemas on June 20, 2025.

What happens in the Elio clip?
The video is a funny collection of mistakes made by the characters in the film, showcasing both Elio and the main antagonist Lord Grigon. This will be the first blooper reel from Pixar featuring animated characters in over twenty years. The last time Pixar released such a compilation was for the 2001 Monsters Inc movie.
Elio is helmed by directors Madeline Sharafian, Domee Shi, and Adrian Molina, who also penned the script alongside Mike Jones, Julia Cho, and Mark Hammer. This animated film showcases Yonas Kibreab as Elio, Zoe Saldaña as Aunt Olga, Remy Edgerly as Glordon, Brad Garrett as Lord Grigon, Jameela Jamil as Ambassador Questa, and Shirley Henderson as Ooooo. Mary Alice Drumm is the producer of this production.
