Street Fighter 6’s Year 2 DLC content has reached its conclusion with Elena as the final character. She will be the last addition to the second wave of DLC characters for the game and her arrival date has been announced. Elena will join Street Fighter 6 in June 2025, making her available for play in the main game and discoverable as a Master in World Tour mode on that day. Coincidentally, this is also the same day that the Switch 2 is expected to be released, on which Street Fighter 6 will also be available.
This week, Capcom hinted at and set a launch date for Elena in Street Fighter 6 via a fresh trailer. The video primarily showcased a dramatic scene (perhaps her introduction in the World Tour as we see a character from the game involved), but it also revealed that Elena will be joining Street Fighter 6 on all platforms by June 5, 2025.
In a nutshell, Elena concludes the DLC for Street Fighter 6 Year 2, joining characters like Mai Shiranui, Terry Bogard, and M. Bison. Notably, Elena is introduced to Street Fighter 6 on the same day as the anticipated Nintendo Switch 2. This detail is significant because it’s been reported that Street Fighter 6 will also be available on the Nintendo Switch 2, and from our early playtests, it seems to perform quite well.
