Elden Ring Nightreign’s next enhanced boss wave crashes against the shores of frustration at the end of this month

If you’ve grown tired of facing off against Gaping Jaw and Darkdrift Knight, here’s some encouraging news! The upcoming wave of empowered bosses in Elden Ring: Nightreign has confirmed their attendance at the great darkness event. You can expect them to join the fray when the next cycle starts on July 31st.

In simpler terms, it seems that the best moment for a new rotation occurred when the previous pairings of Everdark Nightlords were due to expire. However, FromSoft hasn’t given a definite date until now. It’s probably safe to guess that the Equilibrious Beast was busy fine-tuning its horns before making an announcement.

To clarify, the developers behind the RPG games where you roll around until one of you wins by outliving the other have announced that enhanced versions of Tricephalos, Augur, Fissure in the Fog, and the goat-headed creature I previously mentioned will be released as part of a series starting on the last day of this month.

Essentially, your bosses are arriving early for the event, which technically makes them from August, but they’re graciously doing so ahead of schedule. This early arrival seems to provide them with a chance to show off a less impressive structure, if my interpretation is correct.

As the veil grows thin, the night remains insatiable. On July 31, 2025, a new cycle of Everdark will commence; the powerful Nightlords Tricephalos, Augur, Equilibrious Beast, and Fissure in the Fog will soon release their darkest powers over Limveld. #ELDENRING #NIGHTREIGN

If the subsequent Everdark Sovereigns maintain the rhythm set by their predecessors, it will result in a rotation where one boss invades individually for three weeks, followed by another three weeks of facing them in pairs. Does this regular pattern suffice to keep your Nightreigning experience engaging, or are you eagerly awaiting further enhancements such as the anticipated duos mode?

If you’re seeking new methods to add excitement, a random map generator mod for Nightreign was released recently. After all, the thrill of uncertainty in the level design, whether it’s fair or not, is quite exhilarating, isn’t it? You might also want to consider playing blindfolded and tied up like Hannibal Lecter. That way, you can’t rely on your sight or touch while trying to conquer the bosses, right? It certainly won’t make things easier!

It might be a good idea to also cover your nose while playing. After all, relying too much on your sense of smell during gameplay could make you look like an inexperienced player, and you wouldn’t want the developers from FromSoft laughing at your reliance on ‘training wheels’.
