Bandai Namco recently disclosed some data from the pre-launch network test for Elden Ring, which is set to launch on May 30th.
In Elden Ring Nightreign, groups of three players collaborate to endure for three days and nights. During the online trial, players battled against the Nightlord Gladius at the conclusion of the third night, successfully defeating him an impressive 58,615 times. If a player is defeated in combat, teammates can bring them back to life by attacking them. Throughout the network test, there were a total of 23,627,489 attacks employed to resurrect fallen players.
In combat, players stand to lose their accumulated Runes if they fail to be revived promptly. Over 37 billion Runes were forfeited during the network testing phase alone. These Runes are obtained by vanquishing adversaries, with tougher ones yielding more. Below you’ll find the most powerful Runes that were eliminated and their respective counts:
This version maintains the original meaning while using a more conversational tone, making it easier for readers to understand.
- Golden Hippopotamus: 194,996
- Flame Chariot: 164,974
- Fire Monk: 150,128
- Flying Dragon of the Hills: 147,202
- Royal Army Knights: 98,738
In contrast to standard Soulslike games, Nightrein’s mobility in Elden Ring is significantly quicker. Players can sprint at a faster pace and are immune to fall damage. Moreover, within Limveld, players have the ability to call upon Spectral Hawks for rapid travel over large distances across the map. Interestingly, these hawks were summoned an impressive 427,533 times.
As a die-hard gamer, I’m thrilled to share that Elden Ring: Nightreign is set to drop on my screen on May 30th, compatible with PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. This epic adventure promises a return of some formidable bosses from the legendary From Software games, particularly the Dark Souls series.
A bittersweet note is that cross-play won’t be available across different console families, but fear not! Cross-generational play will be a reality within the same console family. Moreover, I can confidently say that this game will be free from any microtransactions, making it a pure gaming experience.
