In Elden Ring: Nightreign, the Nightfarers form the heart of the gameplay. At the outset of your adventure, you’ll get to select one of these ready-made warriors as your starting character. Each one excels in various abilities and has a unique backstory. While they might seem simple at first, they offer a great chance to delve deeper into the characters’ histories.

How To Complete The Wylder’s Remembrance Quests in Elden Ring Nightreign

To unveil more memories or Remembrances, I must venture out on expeditions and collect Memory Fragments along the way. Once I’ve amassed enough fragments, a new entry in the Journal will automatically unlock, revealing more of the Nightfarers’ tales.

Memories serve as additional missions that offer glimpses into the Nightfarer’s past experiences. By engaging with them, FromSoftware shares tales of their diverse characters. While these are entirely optional, they provide valuable insights into the game. Once you gather enough memory shards, select “Start Remembrance” to embark on these missions.

First Wylder’s Remembrance

In all, the Wylder possesses three significant memories. Among these, the initial one is likely to consume the most time and transpires in the town of Limveld. To finish this first memory of the Wylder, simply adhere to the instructions provided below.

  • Speak to the Iron Menial in the next room from the Journal. Say understood and exhaust all his dialogues to get the Find a whetstone in Limveld personal quest.
  • Start an expedition during the Remembrance.
  • Go to the marked cave in Limveld.
  • Confront the Crystallin guarding the Whetstone.
  • Collect the Whetstone.
  • Finish the expedition either by losing or completing it.
  • Come back to the Roundtable.
  • Hand the Whetstone over to the Iron Menial.
  • Ask him if you can borrow the Mended Earring.
  • Hold the earring up to the light in the marked room behind the Iron Menial.
  • Return the Mended Earring to the Duchess.
  • Complete the Remembrance.

1. Begin by examining the main entrance and surrounding areas of the hold.
2. Delve deeper into the fortress, focusing on unexplored corridors and chambers.
3. Keep a keen eye out for any hidden passages or secret rooms.
4. Investigate any unusual or out-of-place objects that may provide clues to your search.
5. Consult with the inhabitants of Roundtable Hold if they have knowledge about the items you seek.
6. Finally, don’t forget to backtrack and revisit previously explored areas in case something was overlooked on your initial pass.

  • Open your map and locate the exclamation point in the West Hall.
  • Read the three glowing letters in the West Hall.
  • Go down the stairs from the West Hall. Turn left and then take the stairs downward again to find the newly opened door. It will lead you to the crypt.
  • Speak to Iron Menial in the crypt and exhaust all dialogues.
  • Read three more glowing notes in the Crypt.
  • Speak to the Duchess on the beach south of the Roundtable Hold. Exhaust all her dialogue.
  • Complete the Remembrance.

Following your conversation with the Duchess at the coastline and finishing the Remembrance task, you’ll now receive a fresh Relic Ritual specifically designed for the Wylder.

Third Wylder’s Remembrance

This time around, your task is to fulfill Wylder’s third memorial in Limveld. But there’s a twist – you must accomplish all objectives during the ongoing Shifting Earth event. Here are the instructions for completing Wylder’s Third Remembrance.

In your journey through Limveld, you will be embarking on Wylder’s third memorial quest. Unlike previous times, you must complete all objectives amidst the Shifting Earth occurrence. Follow these guidelines to successfully finish Wylder’s Third Remembrance.

In your upcoming adventure in Limveld, you will be tasked with completing Wylder’s third memorial mission. This time, however, you must complete all objectives while the Shifting Earth event is ongoing. Use the following instructions to successfully conclude Wylder’s Third Remembrance.

  • Pick up the Virtuous Thief’s Key from the table.
  • Find the small chest at the bottom of the stairs on your way to the crypt.
  • Use the key to open said chest.
  • Collect the Torn-Out Paper Scrap.
  • Speak to the Recluse in the west hall. Exhaust all her dialogue.
  • Speak to the Iron Menial regarding finding the Silver Tear. Exhaust all his dialogue to unlock the Find a Silver Tear in Limveld objective.
  • Start an Expedition as the Wylder during the Shifting Earth event.
  • Find the Silver Tear in the Eternal City in the Realm of Remembrances.
  • Go to the marker and defeat the Mimic Troll and collect the Silver Tear from the large chest.
  • Finish the Expedition by dying or winning.
  • Speak to the Iron Menial at the Roundtable Hold.
  • Interact with the Glowing Stand in the room and complete the Remembrance.

The Final Memory Fragment

As a gamer, once I’ve completed the journey of all three Remembrances, I’ll earn the Silver Tear Relic for my Wylder character, along with his unique Remembrance outfit. If I can successfully conquer the ultimate expedition and defeat the boss, interacts with its remains as the Wylder will initiate a cutscene and grant me the final Memory Fragment.
