Elden Ring Nightreign will add more bosses, characters and more via DLC

Elden Ring Nightreign, the upcoming game from FromSoftware, isn’t just a standalone title. Instead, they intend to release several DLC packs for this roguelike spin-off, which could significantly broaden the gaming experience.

In this game, we’ve got a variety of adversaries spanning from different titles like Dark Souls and Elden Ring. With potential DLC additions from FromSoftware, this game might expand into the largest title within the Souls series to date.

According to PC Gamer’s latest findings, it appears that FromSoftware has an extensive strategy for additional content following the release of their multiplayer game, as suggested by a recent update on the Steam Store page.

“Additional DLC — Additional playable characters and bosses,” read the game’s official store page. 

After the outlet noticed it, any reference to extra DLC has swiftly disappeared. This might indicate that the mention of downloadable content was unintentional, or perhaps the game’s DLC strategy is still under wraps and not yet ready for public announcement.

Despite the fact that the initial game took years to receive additional content, it’s encouraging to know that Elden Ring Nightreign will likely get updates more quickly. This is a significant improvement, as players were thrilled but patient for expansions in the original game.

Without a definitive announcement from FromSoftware or publisher Bandai Namco about new DLC for the game, no one can guarantee its release. Yet, there’s a strong possibility that more bosses and characters might be introduced in the future.

Regarding fresh content, Nightreign has immense potential. Since Dark Souls adversaries are present at the game’s launch, it’s plausible that FromSoftware might incorporate components from their other games into the game.

Although it seems unlikely that Bloodborne Remastered will be released, since Sony is taking down fan-made remasters, there’s a possibility that enemies and bosses from the original game might appear in Nightreign or even Demons’ Souls. That would certainly be fantastic!
