In an attempt to make the roster of Elden Ring Nightreign even more harrowing, FromSoftware has introduced challenging versions of each Nightlord, which they’ve called Everdark Sovereigns.
In these updated boss fights, you’ll encounter fresh strategies, intense attack patterns, and a significant increase in health points. Veteran nightfarers are finding these expeditions tough as nails. Now, there’s speculation that FromSoftware could be gearing up to unleash something even more grueling than the Everdark Sovereigns.
Everdark Sovereigns might just be the beginning in Nightreign
Reddit user Lightslayer has shared a popular theory on r/Nightreign. This theory suggests that developer FromSoftware could potentially introduce a new level of extremely challenging bosses, surpassing the recently added Everdark Sovereigns.
In the Nightreign game, the progression of colors for weapons and items follows this pattern: Blue, Purple, then Yellow. As per a Redditor’s explanation, at present, the Nightlords are depicted in blue, while the Everdark Sovereigns are shown in purple. This implies that there could potentially be a “yellow-level” variant of these bosses in the future.
It could appear that this idea is quite far-fetched, yet let’s keep in mind, it’s FromSoftware we’re discussing – a studio renowned for crafting some of the toughest boss battles that leave players struggling for hundreds of gaming hours. Similarly, the Everdark Sovereigns weren’t anticipated in Nightreign, but they have indeed made an appearance.

The community associated with the game Nightreign is also supporting this theory. Despite the Gaping Jaw having wiped them out, they are eager to confront tougher bosses head-on. However, if FromSoftware decides to follow through with this approach, players are requesting an additional mode called “boss rush” where all Nightlords appear in a single mission, fighting consecutively in their three distinct phases.
Elden Ring Nightreign delivers more bug fixes

Instead of continually adding fresh content to Nightreign similar to Everdark Sovereigns, FromSoftware is diligently addressing and rectifying several technical problems within the game that have been negatively impacting the gaming experience for its players.
Lately, FromSoftware has rolled out Update 1.01.3 for Nightreign across all platforms. This update includes several improvements that players are sure to welcome. For instance, the annoying occurrence of the Demon Merchant appearing mysteriously during a curse event has been addressed.
Hey gamers! I’ve got some exciting news – version 1.01.3 for Elden Ring: Night Reign is now live! Madness weapons are now accessible from multiple locations. This update also squashes a bunch of bugs related to skills, relics, and weapons, ensuring a smoother gaming experience for all.

In this update, the studio has resolved issues concerning the damage done by Ironeye to certain opponents, as well as the bug that caused players to lose battles upon respawning. This latest patch also addresses a range of bugs related to runes, relic effects, elemental damage, and other similar matters.
It’s wonderful to note that FromSoftware is proactively resolving all technical problems in the multiplayer mode, since these glitches have resulted in numerous players requesting refunds for Nightreign. Some uninstalled the game due to frequent server disconnections, while others were frustrated by the lack of a duo option.
