This week has been packed with exciting news for Elden Ring: Nightreign, from Bandai Namco and FromSoftware. Emails inviting participants to the game’s upcoming Closed Network Test were distributed this week, along with the test dates. Additionally, we now know the exact launch date for Nightreign – it’s set for May! That means the official release isn’t too far away.
In a recent trailer, developers FromSoftware and Bandai Namco have confirmed that Elden Ring: Nightreign is set to release on May 30, 2025, available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC systems. The trailer also showcased some exclusive editions of the game. For instance, the Digital Deluxe Edition grants players additional content such as DLC, an art booklet, and a mini soundtrack. Additionally, there’s a Collector’s Edition that includes a Wylder character statue, DLC passes, a digital soundtrack, a physical artbook, and Nightmare Cards.
At The Game Awards 2024, Elden Ring: Nightreign was unexpectedly unveiled, offering a multiplayer-centric journey through The Lands Between of Elden Ring. It appears that old enemies are resurfacing along with some ominous new adversaries. Regardless, this time we can play together with our companions, and it seems that their assistance will be crucial if we’re to overcome the game’s toughest obstacles, as mentioned in our latest preview.
As we’ve scheduled the Closed Network Test dates and confirmed the official release date, keep an eye out for upcoming Elden Ring Nightreign announcements and updates, which will be shared exclusively on Shacknews.
