A24 has disclosed that the much-anticipated release date range for their upcoming blockbuster mystery-thriller by renowned director Ari Aster, titled Eddington, will be made public soon. Filming commenced in March 2024 and is currently undergoing post-production editing.

The narrative centers on a couple who find themselves stuck in a tiny New Mexico village. At first, they’re warmly received, but as darkness falls, the village reveals a chilling side.

When is the Eddington release date window?

The studio plans to roll out Eddington in the summer of 2025, marking Aster’s next project with A24 following Hereditary (2018), Midsommar (2019), and Beau Is Afraid (2023). Reports suggest that it might make its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. The film is penned and helmed by Aster, who is also producing alongside Lars Knudsen under their Square Peg label.
