Fans of Dead by Daylight have an exhilarating May 2025 approaching. The clock is almost ticking for the arrival of new survivor Orela Rose, and the anniversary livestream is just around the corner. This livestream will spill the beans about the forthcoming DBD FNAF Chapter. Although a public-test build will be rolled out later this month, certain Dead By Daylight enthusiasts may get to experience the FNAF Chapter ahead of time before the PTB drops.

Some Dead By Daylight fans might get to play FNAF PTB early

2023’s Dead By Daylight anniversary livestream is scheduled for PAX EAST. The live event will occur on May 9th at 8AM Pacific Time/11AM Eastern Time/4PM British Summer Time. It promises to unveil information about the FNAF Chapter, along with other exciting details such as the Year 10 plan.

Apart from enjoying the livestream, those attending PAX EAST personally can also drop by the Dead by Daylight (DBD) booth. Here, they’ll have the opportunity to interact with the team, try out the game, purchase some merchandise, and even encounter a few surprises.

According to Dveet’s conjecture, it’s plausible that attendees of PAX EAST might have a chance to play the next FNAF Chapter at their booth. However, it’s important to note that this is merely speculation and not an official confirmation.

Before Dani’s post, well-known Dead by Daylight (DBD) YouTuber, The King, shared an April Fool’s prank video suggesting that the Five Nights At Freddy’s chapter had been cancelled. However, once he got past the funny part of the video, The King discussed the official unveiling of DBD at PAX EAST.

The King stated, “You’ll find that you can indeed experience this new [FNAF] Chapter right there. Consequently, the anniversary stream is scheduled for PAX, where attendance will grant you the opportunity to play the chapter yourself.

Although BeHaviour Interactive hasn’t officially confirmed it, as The King is usually trustworthy, there’s a strong possibility that attendees of PAX EAST might get an early play of Dead by Daylight x Five Nights at Freddy’s.

For those who won’t be at PAX EAST, the Play Test Build (PTB) is scheduled to release in May, though it won’t coincide with the anniversary livestream day. At present, there’s no confirmed date for the PTB, but there are rumors suggesting May 27th as a possible release date.
