Previously called NCAA, EA Sports College Football made its awaited comeback last year. Following its successful launch with favorable feedback and high sales figures, it’s unlikely that there will be another lengthy hiatus before the next installment of College Football games. This year, get ready for EA Sports College Football 26 to hit the virtual field this summer.
Electronic Arts announced EA Sports College Football 26 on X this morning, stating “We promised this place would come back to life – thanks to our players, athletes, and fans for joining us in filling the venue.” They encouraged everyone to keep the excitement of the kickoff going until College Football 26 is released this summer.
We predicted that this venue would regain its fullness – all thanks to our players, sports enthusiasts, and supporters who have joined us in filling it up.
Let’s carry forward the excitement we felt during the kick-off and keep it going until College Football 26 arrives this summer! 😉

It appears that the College Football series is likely going to follow in the footsteps of Madden NFL, NHL, and FIFA, becoming another annual sports franchise published by Electronic Arts (EA).
As a dedicated gamer, I can’t help but share my excitement about the recent launch of EA Sports College Football 25, which hit the shelves last August. Hot on its heels was Madden, and it got me thinking – could we be seeing College Football 26 around the same time next year? Fingers crossed!
