What happens in the Aftermath trailer?

In the trailer for “The Aftermath,” Sprouse’s character finds himself stranded on Boston’s Tobin Bridge following an explosion orchestrated by a group of former military contractors, led by Mason Gooding from Scream. As Gooding’s character starts murdering hostages, Sprouse is forced to utilize his own military skills to safeguard his younger sister and all the other individuals who are caught in this dangerous situation.

Stranded on the Tobin Bridge in Boston following a bomb detonation, a veteran Army Ranger employs his exceptional skills to rescue his sibling and other captives from a band of vindictive ex-military contractors, who are orchestrated by an erratic war criminal, as stated in the official summary.

The screenplay for the film was penned by Nathan Graham Davis. Lucas Jarach, Brian Pitt, and Timothy C. Sullivan act as producers, with Megan Stott (Penelope in Little Fires Everywhere) and Dichen Lachman (from Severance) completing the cast ensemble.

In the past, Lussier has worked on films such as Dracula 2000 (released in the year 2000), My Bloody Valentine from 2009, Drive Angry from 2011, Trick which came out in 2019, and Play Dead that was released in 2022. Additionally, he has directed several episodes for Scream: The TV Series, Into the Dark, and The Purge television series.

Besides his role as Zack Martin in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, Sprouse is also recognized for appearing in films like Banana Split (2018), After We Collided (2020), My Fake Boyfriend (2022), Beautiful Disaster (2023), and Beautiful Wedding (2024).

Meanwhile, Gooding has appeared in several recent projects such as Booksmart (released in 2019), Moonshot (released in 2022) and the upcoming Y2K film. He’s also known for his role as Chad Meeks-Martin in the Scream series and Andrew Spencer in Hulu’s Love, Victor.

In the United States, “Aftermath” is set to premiere in certain cinemas and become available for online streaming on digital platforms starting from November 1, 2024.
