Born on May 7, 1994, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dylan Nicole Gelula hails from a family practicing Reform Judaism. Attending Lower Merion High School, she faced difficulties and frequently felt lonely, yet she found comfort in her solitude.

Over time, her recurring absences prompted her to contemplate either repeating her senior year or leaving school permanently. At 17 years old, she opted to depart and moved independently to Los Angeles.

Fun fact, I never got around to watching that movie with my folks back then. But fate had other plans; fast-forwarding two years into my sixth-grade year, I stumbled upon a mentor who’d be instrumental in shaping my professional journey.

Prior to moving to Los Angeles, her New York representative managed to arrange an audition for her to play the role of Jean Fordham in a production of August: Osage County at the Arden Theatre Company, directed by Terry Nolen.
