Dwayne Johnson has announced that a live-action Monster Jam movie is in the works.

On the 9th of August, 2024, during D23, Johnson along with Disney’s Alan Bergman disclosed that a Monster Jam film is currently under production. This upcoming movie aims to capitalize on the popularity of monster truck rallies and will serve as a tribute to the largest motor sport event globally.

Johnson will produce the film via his Seven Bucks Production banner.

Moreover, he provided the voice for Maui in Moana (2016) and will reprise his role in the upcoming sequel, Moana 2, slated for release in cinemas in November 2024.
