Duplicity Trailer Sets Release Date for Tyler Perry Legal Thriller Movie

Amazon Studios, under the direction of MGM, has unveiled the official trailer for their upcoming legal thriller titled “Duplicity,” masterminded by director Tyler Perry. This adult-oriented film features Kat Graham from The Vampire Diaries in the main role as lawyer Marley.

In the movie, top-tier lawyer Marley finds herself grappling with her most intimate case ever as she’s assigned to discover the truth surrounding the shooting of her closest friend Fela’s spouse. With assistance from her detective boyfriend, Marley delves into the mystery, which takes her on a dangerous journey filled with lies and treachery.

When is the Duplicity release date?

On March 20, 2025, the new series “Duplicity” will premiere, only on Amazon Prime Video. Joining the cast are Meagan Tandy, known for her role as Batwoman, playing Fela; Tyler Lepley from Harlem and The Haves and the Have Nots as Tony; Kearia Schroeder from Dance For Me as Jennifer; RonReaco Lee of First Wives Club; Joshua Adeyeye from The Oval as Rodney; Nick Barrotta, familiar to many from Divorce Court; Jimi Stanton who has appeared in Greyhound and Your Honor; and Shannon LaNier, recognized for his work in God’s Not Dead: A Light in Darkness.

Tyler Perry, known for movies like “Divorce in the Black” and “Diary of a Mad Black Woman,” is both the screenwriter and director for this upcoming film. Joining him as producers are Angi Bones (from “The Negotiator” and “Blade”), Will Areu (“A Madea Family Funeral” and “A Fall from Grace”), and other team members. The creative crew also includes editor Larry Sexton, production designer Sharon Busse, and others, while JimiJame$ and Wow Jones handle the music composition.
