Funcom is almost set to unveil its MMO version of the Dune universe globally; however, it requires a brief extension in the baking process. Initially planned for release in May, the game titled Dune: Awaken has officially been postponed until June.
Funcom announced that Dune: Awakening will be delayed due to insights gained from recent beta tests, which they plan to utilize for improvements. In a message to fans, the studio expressed gratitude for this opportunity to refine their work based on feedback, stating, “With a little extra time to prepare, we can address even more of the suggestions that matter most to our testers.
Initially scheduled for release on May 20, 2025, the anticipated game Dune: Awakening has been a topic of discussion since 2022. We’ve had the opportunity to get hands-on with it and engage in conversations with the creators themselves.
On June 10, 2025, Dune: Awakening is set to debut. If you opt for the Deluxe Edition in advance, you’ll get early access to the game starting from June 5.
