There were rumors circulating a while ago that the release date for Dulquer Salmaan’s film “Lucky Baskhar” had been pushed back from its initial planned release on September 7, 2024.
More recently, Sithara Entertainment announced an update regarding their upcoming film, Lucky Baskhar. They’ve adjusted the initial release date and are now planning to premiere the movie in cinemas on October 31, 2024.
In their comprehensive write-up about X, the creators acknowledged that delaying the release of a movie can harm its reputation, but they believe it’s crucial for preserving the film’s quality.
“Delaying our movie releases might affect our online image, but we believe it’s crucial for ensuring top-notch quality. Get ready for a fantastic Diwali experience with #LuckyBaskhar in cinemas worldwide on October 31st, 2024!”
The movie has definitively set its launch date for Diwali 2024, and it seems that the producers may have strategically scheduled this to avoid a box office confrontation with Thalapathy Vijay’s The Greatest Of All Time, which is slated for release on September 5, 2024.
Under the direction of Venky Alturi, this upcoming film promises to deliver a gripping tale that combines elements of finance, suspense, and drama. Previews have already captured our attention, with Dulquer Salmaan’s casual demeanor and minimalist wardrobe reminiscent of an everyday guy, adding intrigue to his on-screen presence.
The storyline of the film is set in the 1980s, and it seems that Dulquer Salmaan will portray a traditional banker who becomes wealthy under questionable means. Two songs from the movie have been previously released and have garnered fantastic feedback from viewers. Apart from Dulquer Salmaan, Lucky Baskhar also stars Meenakshi Chaudhary, Surya Sreenivas among other talented individuals.
