Drew McIntyre Discusses the Possibility of Forming a Faction in WWE

As a longtime WWE fan with a deep appreciation for the rich history and dynamics of its factions, I can’t help but be thrilled by Drew McIntyre‘s vision for a new Evolution-style faction. The original Evolution was a game-changer, bridging the gap between eras and showcasing some of the most iconic stars in wrestling history.

Currently, former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Drew McIntyre has been sharing thoughts about his dream team for a fresh faction. He envisions a squad reminiscent of the iconic Evolution group. Notably, McIntytyre is currently locked in a fierce feud with CM Punk.

Despite the widespread assumption that their conflict ended during the WWE Bash in Berlin, McIntyre had more up his sleeve. After suffering a loss, he viciously assaulted Punk, leaving him injured. This violent act prompted WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce to announce a significant showdown between the two combatants.

In the most recent episode of WWE RAW, Pearce unveiled that McIntyre and Punk are set to battle within the confines of Hell in a Cell at WWE’s upcoming event, Bad Blood. As this fierce rivalry unfolds, McIntyre has been pondering over potential allies for himself, imagining a faction reminiscent of the iconic Evolution group.

In the early 2000s, WWE Evolution served as a significant group within the promotion, acting as a bridge connecting the Attitude Era with the emerging crop of Superstars. Comprised of four main figures, it was led by Triple H, mentored by seasoned wrestler Ric Flair, boasted the physically imposing Batista, and included Randy Orton, a promising young talent destined for stardom.

Drew McIntyre recently disclosed his picks for a contemporary version of an Evolution-like group. He further specified potential members for roles such as the leader, the seasoned pro, the heavyweight, and the rising star.

Drew McIntyre reveals his ideal faction members in WWE

Currently, the WWE star, Drew McIntyre, is publicizing his first movie appearance in “The Killer’s Game,” which features Dave Bautista. In a Reddit Ask Me Anything session, he was inquired about forming a group similar to Evolution.

In response, he positioned himself as the head of the group, much like Triple H does. Furthermore, McIntyre proposed adding up-and-coming talents and a seasoned member to round out the team. When asked about it, he replied, “That’s an interesting query. If given the chance, I would be thrilled to guide Oba Femi and Bron Breakker, two individuals with great potential. Sheamus could take on the role that Ric Flair often plays due to his extensive experience.

In McIntyre’s imagination, he is the figurehead, Sheamus takes on the role of the seasoned veteran, Oba Femi becomes the dominant force, and Bron Breakker emerges as the promising newcomer within his contemporary version of the Evolution stable.
