Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince comes to PC and mobile in September

As a die-hard fan who has been playing Dragon Quest since its humble beginnings in the 90s, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming release of Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince on Steam, iOS, and Android! Growing up with these games, I’ve spent countless hours taming monsters and commanding them to do my bidding. To think that I’ll soon be able to continue this tradition on my trusty laptop or mobile device is simply breathtaking!

In the previous year, Square Enix unveiled Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince, the latest addition to the spin-off series. Initially exclusive to Nintendo Switch, this game is set to expand its reach to additional platforms in the near future. Notably, Square Enix has declared that Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince will become available on Steam, iOS, and Android on September 11, 2024.

In a fresh trailer, Square Enix revealed that they are bringing the PC and mobile version of Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince to market. This exciting game will be available on these new platforms within two weeks, expanding its reach to a wider player base. Since the ’90s, the Dragon Quest Monsters spin-off games have been available, where players capture creatures and lead them in combat instead of engaging directly. In “The Dark Prince,” we follow Psaro, initially introduced as the primary villain in Dragon Quest 4.

In a few weeks, you’ll be able to play Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince on both PC and mobile devices. This isn’t the only Dragon Quest game releasing this year; the Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake is scheduled for fall. Keep tuned to Shacknews for the most recent news regarding the Dragon Quest series.
