As a seasoned gamer with decades of anime experience under my belt, I must say that the new Dragon Ball Daima trailer has me absolutely buzzing! I remember when I first started watching Dragon Ball Z as a kid, and now, here we are, celebrating its 40th anniversary with this fantastic new series.
Crunchyroll unveiled a fresh trailer and launch date announcement for the English-dubbed debut of the anime series “Dragon Ball Daima”, which is being produced by Toei Animation as part of the franchise’s 40th anniversary celebrations.
As a gamer, I found myself shrunken down alongside Goku, Supreme Kai, Glorio, and Panzy in an unexpected twist. With no clue about our surroundings, we find ourselves venturing into the unfamiliar world of the ‘Demon Realm’ – what kind of adventure lies ahead for us here?

When is the Dragon Ball Daima English dub release date?
Starting January 10, 2025, Crunchyroll will offer a dubbed version of Dragon Ball Daima in selected regions such as the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. This adaptation will include Sean Schemmel as Goku, Stephanie Nadoln as mini Goku, Paul Castro Jr. as mini Vegeta, Nasim Benelkour as mini Piccolo, Aaron Dismuke as Glorio, Fairouz Ai as Panzy, Tom Laflin as Gomah, Landon McDonald voicing both Degesu and Supreme Kai, Monica Rial as Bulma, Doc Morgan as the narrator, and other talented voice actors.
In the anime series inspired by the characters of the late Akira Toriyama, Yoshitaka Yashima and Aya Komaki are at the helm as directors. The creative team is further bolstered by Yuko Kakihara, who manages its storyline and script, and Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru, responsible for the design of the characters. Notably, Grammy-winning artist Zedd has been enlisted to create the opening theme song “Jaka Jaan,” with C&K providing vocals. Additionally, Zedd is producing the closing song “NAKAMA,” whose lyrics and vocals were penned by AI, an accomplished artist.
