As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for anime, I’ve been eagerly awaiting the new Dragon Ball series to hit the screens. The anticipation has been palpable, much like the tension before an epic boss battle in a video game. Now that we know it’s coming to Netflix, my excitement is reaching the level of a Super Saiyan!
Besides becoming available on Crunchyroll for streaming, the upcoming “Dragon Ball Daima” anime series is also set to premiere on Netflix this month. Consequently, the English release of the cartoon will take place a week after its original Japanese airing on October 11.
When is the Dragon Ball Daima Netflix release date?
The much-anticipated series “Dragon Ball Daima” is set to debut on Netflix in Asia on Monday, October 14, with a global release following on Friday, October 18. This anime will be brought to life by the talented voice actors including Masako Nozawa as Goku, Yumiko Kobasyashi as Shin, Koki Uchiyama as Glorio, Fairouz Ai as Panzy, Showtaro Morikubo as Gomah, and Junya Enoki as Degesu, among others.
Because of a secret plot, Goku and his companions find themselves shrunken. The adventure that lies ahead for Goku, Supreme Kai, and the fresh faces, Glorio and Panzy, in this mysterious realm known as the ‘Demon Realm’, is about to unfold in the anime’s storyline.
The anime series, inspired by the characters of Akira Toriyama, is helmed by directors Yoshitaka Yashima and Aya Komaki. Other members of the creative team include Yuko Kakihara (who handles series composition and scenario) and Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru (responsible for character design). Grammy-winning artist Zedd has been enlisted to create the opening theme song “Jaka Jaan,” with C&K, a singer-songwriting duo, providing the vocals. Additionally, Zedd is working on the ending song “NAKAMA,” whose lyrics were penned and performed by the AI artist.
