Dragon actor Pradeep Ranganathan REACTS to frequent comparisons with Dhanush: ‘I only see myself…’

Amidst this outpouring of admiration, the actor finally addressed the frequent comparisons being drawn between him and renowned star Dhanush by the fans.

At a recent gathering for Dragon, Pradeep Ranganathan was queried about his feelings when individuals drew comparisons between him and Tamil actor Dhanush, noting their physical similarities.

Additionally, Pradeep was questioned about his feelings towards the comparisons made – whether he perceived them as beneficial or detrimental to himself.

In response, the actor emphasized that when he looks in a mirror, he doesn’t picture anyone else reflecting back at him. He admitted to being aware of such comparisons, but by the close of the day, he prefers not to mimic any other person.

Pradeep explained, “To be honest, when I look in the mirror, I only see myself reflected back. Both of my films are performing well, so I believe I’m doing quite well. I’ve been hearing about comparisons being drawn, but I’m not attempting to imitate anyone. Perhaps it’s just a similarity in appearance or physique.

Besides him, Ashwath Marimuthu, the director of Dragon, who was also at the same event, also stated that they can’t imagine anyone else taking Pradeep Ranganathan’s place. In addition, the filmmaker expressed that the actor has successfully created a unique space and identity for himself in the movie industry.

Regarding Dragon, it faced competition from NEEK directed by Dhanush at the box office. However, despite this rivalry, both films put forth an effort to perform well financially.
