The upcoming 2024 event is set in Copenhagen, Denmark, where 16 teams from across the globe will battle it out for their share of a massive cash prize. Dota 2 The International 2024 dates & where to watch
2024’s Dota 2 The International competition commences with Group Stages and Seeding Deciders, deciding each team’s position within the bracket from September 4 to September 7. Subsequently, the main event and elimination rounds unfold on September 8 to September 10 for the Playoffs, and from September 13 to September 15 for the finals. The games usually start at around 1 a.m. Pacific Time or 4 p.m. Eastern Time, and they can be watched on SteamTV, YouTube, Twitch, or right here above as well

For Dota 2’s The International 2024 tournament, the prize fund currently stands at $2,409,156. This includes a base pool of $1.6 million, supplemented by $809,510 from sponsors and players who purchased the Dota 2 The International 2024 Compendium (previously known as Battle Pass). The specific prize breakdown hasn’t been revealed yet, but will be disclosed as more details are made available. Noteworthy is that all 16 participating teams in Dota 2 The International 2024 will receive a payout regardless of their final placement in the tournament
