Yes, Black Doves season 2 is happening!
In August of 2024, before Black Doves had even set a date for its first season premiere, Netflix unexpectedly announced the renewal of the show for a second season at the Edinburgh TV Festival. This announcement was surprising because no one had yet seen the show and Netflix typically waits to measure viewership numbers before making such decisions.
It’s unusual for Netflix to renew a new series prior to its release or viewing by audiences.
