Moreover, during a post-WWE Bad Blood Fanatics Live event, Dominik clarified his previous remarks about The Rock’s films. He shared his annoyance towards veteran wrestlers who believe they can keep pace with the current generation, specifically naming CM Punk and The Rock.

He went on saying, ‘ frankly, I’m fed up with these older folks who believe they can keep up and barge in here with this younger crowd. Regardless, I am unique, I’m the most exceptional Mysterio ever. If those old-timers think they can challenge me, go ahead, but they all will fail.’ Mysterio replied. ‘CM Punk, The Rock? It doesn’t make a difference. They’re just jealous because they don’t have hair, and I have the finest hair and the best mustache.’

During CM Punk’s comeback to WWE in December 2023, Dominik Mysterio had several run-ins with him. Yet, on WWE live shows, it was against Punk that he squared off. Still, as of now, Dominik hasn’t met his ultimate opponent, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
