Dominik Mysterio Reacts to Rhea Ripley & Damian Priest’s ‘The Terror Twins’ Nickname

As a long-time WWE fan with a deep appreciation for the intricacies of storytelling and character development, I must say that the latest turn of events within The Judgment Day has been nothing short of captivating!

Post the WWE SummerSlam event, Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest were expelled from The Judgment Day faction. Tensions within The Judgment Day ignited when Dominik Mysterio turned against Rhea Ripley, forming an alliance with Liv Morgan. This betrayal subsequently led to Finn Balor, the faction’s leader, turning against Damian Priest mid-match with Gunther, resulting in Priest losing the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

After the SummerSlam event, the group known as The Judgment Day welcomed Liv Morgan into their ranks, sparking tensions with Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley. Ever since they parted ways, this faction has been honing in on Priest and Ripley as their main targets.

During the recent modifications to The Judgment Day, Priest and Ripley formed an unexpected partnership, which they humorously referred to as “The Fearful Duo.” This unconventional team has been met with praise and controversy, particularly from Dominik Mysterio. In a recent interview, Mysterio expressed his displeasure with their moniker, further fueling the ongoing plot developments.

Dominik Mysterio criticizes ‘The Terror Twins’ nickname

On Peter Rosenberg’s show, WWE Superstar Dominik Mysterio spoke about the nickname “The Terror Twins” given to Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest. He found it childish and made an analogy by saying, “I think it’s silly [laughs]. It just sounds like a couple of… well, let’s say they’ve always been like two lumps, if you know what I mean.”

Beyond that, he chose not to reveal his genuine emotions to spare Rhea Ripley’s feelings, however, being with Liv Morgan now, he finds himself unaffected by the situation. He expressed, “When you’re, as you mentioned, blinded by love, I didn’t wish to upset Mami’s feelings. She had her special moments with her friend, so one doesn’t want to interfere. It makes them feel unique, so I didn’t want to disrupt that. But now I don’t hold much importance towards it. It seems foolish. It is what it is.”

With the WWE Bash in Berlin approaching, Dominik Mysterio and his latest companion, Liv Morgan, are preparing for their upcoming mixed tag team battle against “The Fearsome Duo,” Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest.
