As a fan who has been captivated by Kerry Condon’s versatile performances since her breakout role in “In the Land of Saints and Sinners,” I can’t help but get excited about her latest projects! Her transition from the apocalyptic world of The Walking Dead to the supernatural horror of Night Swim, and then to the dark comedy of The Banshees of Inisherin, showcases her incredible range as an actress.


Actress Kerry Condon, known for her role as Clara in season 4 of The Walking Dead, has been involved in some intriguing projects lately. These include the supernatural horror movie titled Night Swim and the darkly humorous film called The Banshees of Inisherin. Moving forward, Condon is set to venture into a distant galaxy as she takes on a role in Disney’s upcoming Star Wars series, Skeleton Crew.

Disney has moved up the premiere date for “Star Wars: The Skeleton Crew,” a new series by Jon Watts and Christopher Ford, from Dec. 3 to Dec. 2. Excited fans will now get to watch the first two episodes a day ahead of schedule. This eight-episode series is set to kick off at 6 p.m. PT on Dec. 2, with subsequent episodes dropping weekly on Tuesdays until the season finale in January 2025.

BAFTA-winning actor Jude Law portrays Jod Na Nawood, a character who employs the Force to smoothly navigate difficult circumstances. Condon is joined by Tunde Adebimpe, Jaleel White, and Nick Frost, providing the voice for the droid SM 33. The narrative primarily revolves around several young characters, including Ravi Cabot-Conyers (Wim), Kyriana Kratter (KB), Robert Timothy Smith (Neel) and Ryan Kiera Armstrong (Fern).

The official synopsis for Skeleton Crew gives a good idea of what viewers can expect from the series. When four kids make a mysterious discovery on their seemingly safe home planet, they get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. Finding their way home, meeting unlikely allies and enemies will be a greater adventure than they ever imagined.

In these episodes, Watts takes the helm, joined by directors such as David Lowery, The Daniels (Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert), Jake Schreier, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Lee Issac Chung. Notably, Watts and Ford act as the primary writers and executive producers for this series. Additionally, Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson serve in executive producer roles. Chris Buongiorno, Karen Gilchrist, and Carrie Beck share co-executive producer duties, with Susan McNamara and John Bartnicki rounding out the production team.

Actress Conden is recognized for her performances in “Unleashed” and “In the Land of Saints and Sinners.” In the future, she will take on roles in the motorsports drama “F1,” set to premiere on June 25, 2025. Additionally, she will appear in a war drama titled “Pressure” and “Train Dreams.
