As a dedicated Disney Plus subscriber and animation enthusiast, I’m thrilled to see that new episodes of Firebuds Season 2 are finally making their way to the platform starting July 24, 2024! The show has always been a delight for me with its unique blend of adventure, friendship, and heartwarming storytelling.
Starting from July 22 to July 28, 2024, Disney Plus will add just one new item to its TV and movie library. Specifically, it’s the second season of Firebuds, consisting of a total of 13 episodes.
Beginning July 24, on Wednesdays, Disney Plus users have access to the first thirteen episodes of Firebuds Season 2. The second season of this animated series initially aired on Disney Jr. on November 1, 2023. Firebuds was developed by Craig Gerber, who has worked on several Disney animated productions in the past. Some of his earlier projects include Tinker Bell and the Pirate Fairy, and Elena of Avalor.
In this production, a talented vocal ensemble brings the characters to life. Here’s who lends their voices: Vivian Vincent as Violet, Declan Whaley as Bo, Terrence Little Gardenhigh as Flash, Lily Sanfelippo as Axl, JeCobi Swain as Jayden, Caleb Paddock as Piston, Tessa Espinola as June, Jacob Ursomarzo as Popcorn, Julie Nathanson playing both Chef Fran and the Robot, and Keith David giving voice to Manny Kablamee.
In a made-up realm inhabited by people and sentient automobiles, Firebuds’ tale unfolds. These automobiles engage in conversation with humans, forging deep connections between them. The core narrative of Firebuds revolves around a youth and his fire truck. This duo teams up with their first responder companions and embarks on missions to address diverse issues within their community, no matter the size.
