As a huge fan of both Disney and classic movies, I’m thrilled to see Angels in the Outfield joining the Disney Plus lineup on July 15. This heartwarming film from 1994 holds a special place in my childhood memories, and it will be a joy to revisit it anytime I want with my family. The story of Roger’s faith and the magical appearances of an angel is a timeless one that never fails to inspire me.
As a gamer, I’d put it this way: “From Disney Plus’s latest drop for July 15-21, I’m excited to binge-watch the last episode of Star Wars: The Acolyte Season 1. And if I’m in the mood for something different, I can check out the 1994 classic Angels in the Outfield.”
Beginning on July 15, Disney Plus will make the 1994 film “Angels in the Outfield” available for streaming. This heartwarming tale revolves around Roger Bomman, a foster child with a unique hope: if the California Angels baseball team manages to win the pennant, his biological father has promised that they can be reunited as a family. With this dream in mind, Roger fervently prays for the Angels’ success. Not long after, an extraordinary being named Al, disguised as an angel, appears to lend a helping hand to the team.
On July 16, Disney Plus will release the last installment of Star Wars: The Acolyte’s first season. This captivating Star Wars series centers around a Jedi master and his ex-apprentice as they team up to unravel a baffling sequence of slayings among the Jedi order.
This week, Disney Plus is set to debut the NFL Flag Football Championship. Happening for the first time in Canton, Ohio, this exciting live event will be streamed on Disney Plus on July 21. Young boys under 15 and girls under 18 will go head-to-head in their respective divisions, vying for the prestigious NFL Flag Football Championship Title.
