The thought of seeing Deadpool and Wolverine on the small screen is beyond exhilarating. And let’s not forget the return of “What If…?” for its third season – daily episodes? Count me in!
According to Deadline, Disney+ has revealed the upcoming Marvel releases in 2025, as showcased in a “Preview” video. This video highlighted numerous eagerly awaited titles that will stream on Disney+, with several projects starring actors from the universe of The Walking Dead.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man

Actor Colman Domingo, known for his role in Fear the Walking Dead, has been chosen to star in the animated series Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man created by Jeff Trammell for Disney+. He will take on the character of Norman Osborn, a part previously played by Willem Defoe in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man film trilogy. This series is set in an alternate reality where Peter Parker, voiced by Hudson Thames, receives guidance from Osborn instead of Tony Stark. The series also features Eugene Byrd, Grace Song, Hugh Dancy, Kari Wahlgren, Zeno Robinson, Charlie Cox, and Paul F. Tompkins.
Daredevil: Born Again
Release date: Mar. 4, 2025
In the upcoming series “Daredevil: Born Again,” Jon Bernthal returns as Frank Castle/The Punisher, joining a star-studded cast that includes Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Wilson Bethel, Michael Gandolfini, Margarita Levieva, Jeremy Earl, and Ayelet Zurer. In this storyline, Matt Murdock (Daredevil) and Wilson Fisk (Kingpin) will temporarily put aside their adversarial roles to work together for the betterment of New York City.
Eyes of Wakanda

The mini-series titled “Eyes of Wakanda,” produced by Todd Harris for Disney+, is inspired by the Marvel Comics setting of Wakanda. Danai Gurira, known for her role as Michonne in “The Walking Dead,” is featured among the cast, having previously played Okoye in the Black Panther films. Information about this series has been tightly guarded; IMDB describes its plot as follows: “A team of Wakandan warriors who, throughout history, have sought out and secured dangerous vibranium artifacts.
Wonder Man
Release date: Dec. 2025
In this new series, Demetrius Grosse from “Fear the Walking Dead” and Lauren Glazier from “Tales of the Walking Dead” star alongside each other. The story is inspired by the Marvel Comics titled “Wonder Man,” where actor Yahya Abdul-Mateen II plays Simon Williams, a character who gets caught up in the world of superheroes and transforms into Wonder Man. Joining him are Ben Kingsley, Ed Harris, Josh Gad, Byron Bowers, and Manny McCord as fellow cast members.
