As a longtime Disney and gaming enthusiast, I couldn’t be more excited about the upcoming Epic Mickey: Rebrushed fan event at Disney’s D23! Having grown up with classic Disney characters like Mickey Mouse and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, I can hardly wait to get my hands on a demo of this remake. Before the game’s launch date towards the end of this year, THQ Nordic revealed that they would hold a fan event for “Epic Mickey: Rebrushed” at Disney’s D23 expo.
What’s at the Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed fan event?
At the fan event for Epic Mickey: Rebrushed in August 2024, visitors can try out a demo of the game at an individual booth and receive a unique collection of limited-edition pins as a takeaway. Additionally, Warren Spector, the creative director, and other special guests will lead a panel discussion on August 9 about the upcoming game during which they will share insights and updates.
The new release date for Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is September 24, 2024. This updated version of the original 2010 game will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Purple Lamp Studios is developing this remake in partnership with Disney Games.
