Having grown up watching and cherishing every frame of this unique blend of horror and comedy, I find myself eagerly waiting for any morsel of information about the third installment.

The buzz around the Stree series keeps growing louder as director Amar Kaushik shares glimpses into the upcoming chapter, Stree 3. After the massive success of Stree 2, which has just surpassed $35.7 million at the box office, fans can’t wait to see what’s coming next. Kaushik, a key figure in crafting this unique horror-comedy world, offers tantalizing tidbits about the future of this series.

‘We know what our third part will be’: Stree 2 director on next installment

The tremendous box office earnings of Stree 2 (over $35 million) have paved the way for Stree 3. Director Amar Kaushik has hinted that preparations for the sequel are well underway. He mentioned, “The world of Stree is established now. Through Easter eggs, we have ideas for our third installment. Although it’s not fully scripted yet, Niren and I have made notes and have a good grasp on its direction.”

Kaushik, together with writer Niren Bhatt, is buzzing about the fresh paths and narratives for Stree 3. While particular story points are kept secret, Kaushik’s remarks hint that the third movie will expand upon the intricate world created by Stree 2 and the initial Stree.

The success of Stree 2 stems from its ability to blend humor with a feminist theme, a hallmark of the franchise.
