His unwavering commitment is truly commendable, and it’s not just me who feels this way – we’re all deeply grateful for his decision.

In a recent statement, the Varisu producer noted that both he and his cousin have a strong bond with Charan, and continued, “Shirish, who was speaking to the media for the first time, became emotional when discussing the financial aspects of the project. He may have been led astray by some manipulative questions from the interviewer, which resulted in his choice of words being slightly off-mark. However, there was no malicious intent behind his statements.

This film tells the story of an upright Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer who bravely confronts corrupt politicians in order to preserve the integrity of the system and safeguard society.
In this movie helmed by director Shankar, the RRR actor takes on both fatherly and filial roles. The impressive cast of actors such as Kiara Advani, Anjali, SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Sunil, Jayaram, among others, are featured prominently in pivotal roles.
On the professional side of Ram Charan, he’s presently filming a movie titled Peddi, under the guidance of director Buchi Babu Sana. This sports-themed action drama is scheduled to hit theaters on March 27, 2026, featuring Janhvi Kapoor as the main romantic interest.
In addition to Charan and Janhvi, actors such as Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu are all involved in this movie.
In the future, the actor is planning to collaborate with director Sukumar once more on a project tentatively named RC17. This film signifies their return to work together following the box office hit, Rangasthalam.
