Previously at odds, Kevin Rose and Alexis Ohanian are now joining forces to shape a fresh direction for the platform. The exact sum paid for Digg during acquisition remains undisclosed, but it was facilitated with assistance from True Ventures, a venture capital company. In a statement released by Rose, he revealed that Artificial Intelligence served as a key motivator in acquiring Digg.
