Diddy trial day 3 highlights

On the third day of his ongoing trial, additional distressing details emerged, such as Cassie Ventura’s account of an allegedly abusive relationship with Diddy. In 2018, she testified that Diddy assaulted her in her residence. This alleged incident took place two years after a previously reported hotel incident in Los Angeles (as reported by The Guardian).

In a later discussion, the singer disclosed they had parted ways. Earlier that day over lunch, she spoke with Diddy about their separation. However, upon returning home, it’s alleged that the record producer sexually assaulted her in the living room.

In a reminiscent account, the artist famous for “Must Be Love” brought up an earlier event at the InterContinental hotel in Los Angeles in 2016, where she claimed to have experienced physical abuse. Footage from security cameras of this incident emerged a few years ago, showing Diddy allegedly hurling a vase at her and forcefully pushing her down to the floor.

Ventura narrated the events of that day, explaining, “I wasn’t the one who got hit; instead, I recall the object hitting the wall. He was shouting at me and threw it at me towards me. She also mentioned that the rapper supposedly said she couldn’t ‘go away.’

Ventura added that Diddy’s supposedly abusive behavior wasn’t limited to just her, but also affected his employees and her friends. On one particular instance, Ventura recounted how Diddy had allegedly hung one of her friends over a balcony. Moreover, she stated that Combs frequently threatened to publicize videos of her in compromising situations as a means to exert power over her.

Following her decision not to participate on her birthday, he reportedly brought up old video recordings as a means of pressure. She admitted that she was terrified for her career, her family, fearing it could destroy everything she had worked towards. In simpler terms, she felt cornered and agreed out of fear of his wrath and threats.
